Read More, Stress Less: Strategies For Making Time To Read
Some of us may still think that reading is an activity that requires a lot of time.
So, sometimes we think we do not have enough time to read because we are already
busy with many things we do every day. But, it turns out that there are some ways that
can help us to still be able to read in the middle of our activities.

Make A Reading Commitment and Set A Goal
Commitment has an important role in starting something because it will also make us
feel familiar with reading regularly. You can start by setting a reading goal of 15-30
minutes per day or by reading 3-10 pages per day. Once you become more used to it,
you can increase the length of duration or number of pages you will read each time.
Please take note it’s okay to be slow but sure! No need to be rushed.
Utilize The Little Moments
Unconsciously, you might have missed a significant amount of time when you could
have spent it by reading. One of those times is before bedtime, instead of playing with
your phone, you can get yourself a book and read it for a while.
Do not Forget To Have Fun!
Reading is supposed to be fun to do, so no need to force yourself to always read a lot.
Close your book if you are not in a good mood to read and want to do something else
instead. As long as you do not forget the commitments and goals you made earlier, take
it easy and do not have to feel burdened. Also, here are many more tips that can be done
so that we can read books regularly even though we have to do many things. But, you
can start by doing these three super simple tips first and good luck, buddies!
4. Join a book club to make reading a social activity
Having friends who have the same goals as us can motivate us to continue doing that.
The example is by joining a book club. By joining a book club, we can read books
together and then discuss the books we read so that reading books can make this activity
more fun and broaden our horizons.
5. Keep a book with you at all times
Carrying a book whenever and wherever you are will also be very useful when you
suddenly have free time outside of your activities. This will make you have other
options to fill that free time by reading books instead of doing other things that you feel
are unnecessary.
If you want to try, then there will always be time for you to read. Even if it is only one to two pages per day. As long as you want to try to start and stay consistent, you will get used to reading every day.
